ANP - National news Agency

We advised Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau (ANP) on the relocation of its headquarters from Rijswijk to WTC Den Haag, a move that formed an integral part of ANP’s broader strategic repositioning. The decision to establish a new headquarters was directly linked to the organisation’s ambition to modernise, strengthen its market position and create a future-proof working environment aligned with its evolving role as a leading national news agency.

In our role as corporate real estate advisor, we acted as a trusted sparring partner to the executive board and guided ANP throughout the entire trajectory. Our services covered the full scope of the process: from translating strategic objectives into a clear and robust programme of requirements, to carrying out a thorough technical and functional assessment of the new location. We subsequently led the negotiations on the lease agreement, including all commercial, legal and technical terms and conditions via a structured lease acquisition process (RFP’s) and thus safeguarding ANP’s long-term interests.

In the final phase, we remained closely involved up to and including the delivery of the new headquarters, ensuring that the space met the agreed specifications and supported ANP’s operational, cultural and strategic goals. By taking full ownership of the process, we provided clarity, control and continuity, allowing ANP’s management to remain focused on its core business while making a critical step in the organisation’s long-term development.
