For the Municipality of Lelystad, we delivered a comprehensive portfolio analysis and strategic advisory report covering its commercial real estate and city hall. Our advice led to a targeted municipal investment in one of the city’s business buildings, focused on further improving sustainability and long-term asset performance.

We also advised on transforming the city hall to support new ways of working, including flexible, hybrid, and remote working concepts. By addressing surplus space and latent vacancy, we developed a strategy to adapt, upgrade, and sustainably refurbish both the building and selected areas for lease to third parties.

Overall, our work provided the municipality with clear insight into housing and occupancy costs, sustainability opportunities, space utilisation, and total cost of use across the organisation, enabling better-informed decisions and a future-proof real estate strategy.
