On behalf of REB Projects, we acquired the former office building of the Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. This was a complex transaction, as the building was still in active use by the Filmmuseum pending the completion of its new premises at the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam-Noord. 

Shortly after acquiring the property, we initiated negotiations with the City of Amsterdam to realise a comprehensive redevelopment of the former office into a modern, high-end residential complex. The site holds a premium position at the entrance to the renowned Vondelpark, making it highly attractive for residential development.

Throughout the process, we managed stakeholder alignment, transaction structuring and strategic negotiations to unlock the project’s development potential. The result is a transformation of a landmark asset in a prime urban location into a vibrant residential destination that responds to market demand and enriches the city’s built environment.
